Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM)
Providing long-term support to the Primary Science Quality Mark
OVERVIEW

Since 2013, PSTT has been providing long-term support to PSQM as we share a close synergy in our aims and objectives.
The Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) is an award programme that enables primary schools across the UK to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their science provision. We encourage our College Fellows and Cluster Networks to work towards the Primary Science Quality Mark and many of our College Fellows have achieved the Gold Award.
The Exemplar Materials tab on the right will take you to primary science material generated by schools during their time participating in the Primary Science Quality Mark. It is intended to be a bank of materials that will act as a reference for anyone interested in the provision of science in the primary sector. Twelve categories have been identified because of their influence on the teaching and learning of science at primary level and examples collated to illustrate the rationale, process and impact of developing each one.
For more information on the Primary Science Quality Mark, please visit the PSQM website:
EXEMPLAR MATERIALS
The exemplar materials below have been developed through a PSTT funded project in collaboration with PSQM. The collection of examples of good practice in the teaching, learning and leadership of primary science can be used to support schools participating in the Primary Science Quality Mark. They can also be used by schools not participating in PSQM to raise the profile of science teaching in school. Please note, the resources have been developed by a College Fellow and PSQM Hubleader supported by PSTT and PSQM, but should not be seen as a fully comprehensive guide of how to complete your PSQM submission.
